Tablighi Jamaat & Pakistan’s Corona Crisis
Act Responsibly

According to sources, Tablighi Jamaat has played a disastrous role in spreading the Corona virus by organizing large gatherings in the hour of crisis. Meanwhile, Pakistani authorities have now acknowledged that the government was already focusing on Hussaini pilgrims, who were put in Quarantine centers at Taftan border. After spending time in the assigned centers they returned to their homes. Their data is maintained with the government.

Sindh Chief Minister also mentioned that he believe that Hussaini visitors have no role in spreading the corona virus as they were monitored from the very beginning. According to sources, some Saudi and US pro-Pakistani media propagated fierce poisoning against pilgrims returning from Iran in the early days of the Corona virus.
The aforementioned media paid no attention to travelers coming from Saudi Arabia, Emirates, Italy, Britain, Turkey and the United States and tried to declare them corona-free. In the initial days of the outbreak, Tourists and foreigners of the Tablighi Jamaat were not monitored properly. Thousands of people spread across Pakistan with the Corona virus symptoms.

Moreover, Corona virus test results came out positive in hundreds of people from Tablighi Jamaat. Over time, some of their centers have been quarantined, where Tablighi people are still fleeing from Quarantine centers. In a sad incident, Tablighi member stabbed the security officer deployed at one of the center and fled. Corona virus is a global outbreak that requires cohesion and harmony to counter it. The leaders of Tablighi Jamaat also need to realize that it is not the time to safeguard their holy business but to act with sanity and reason.
