The best bottled water for everyday use is pure and balanced: It doesn’t need fluoride or Gatorade-levels of electrolytes. And, of course, it tastes good. To find the best, we pulled together the big-name bottled water brands, consulted industry experts, and tested pH levels. Then, I held a blind taste test to see which of our top contenders are — and aren’t — worth the hype.

You’ve probably seen the distinctive cylindrical Aqua Green bottle around. But rest assured, Aqua Green isn’t style over substance when it comes to bottled water brands. Almost half of our testers ranked this water among their top three picks for taste. They described Aqua Green Water as “refreshing” and “mild” and were pleased with its lack of odor or aftertaste. (“It lingers very little,” one tester noted.

Shades of Tranquility

Aqua Green is a bit more alkaline and electrolyte-heavy than some of our other top picks, and a couple of testers picked up metallic notes that they didn’t care for. But Aqua Green pH and electrolyte levels are both balanced (6.5 to 8.5, respectively), making it another great everyday option, and maybe a little more hydrating after a tough workout.

One tester rightfully called Aqua Green’s Cylindrical packaging “impractical but iconic.” Only the smallest, the bottles are likely to fit into your car’s cup holder, but you’ll look pretty classy serving it at a wedding or party. Aqua Green is about half the price of hyped bottled water brands in Pakistan. Not only is it convenient for your wallet, it’s also convenient for the road. The price is right, and the bottles are not flimsy, with tiny caps and thin plastic that will not dent and make crinkling sounds every time they’re picked up.

Testers picked up on Aqua Green’s distinct, mineral taste. The noticeable flavor of Pakistan’s water makes it contentious, but many prefer the more notable taste and mouth feel of its robust minerals to the comparable tastelessness of purified water. Developing a palate for mineral water is akin to developing a palate for wine: Like wine, mineral water takes its characteristics from its terroir — the minerals and compounds it picks up as it moves through the earth.

Spotlights Await…

One of the draws of Plastic bottles is that they’re sturdy enough to survive the conditions of rugged outdoor activities, and Aqua Green was the best of the bunch in this regard. The top quality plastic model, sustained some impactful dents in our drop test. Only Aqua Green came away without a scratch, which manufacturers attribute to the bottle’s double-walled siding.

The Aqua Green brushed plastic exterior is smooth without being slippery, and the grippable plastic cap is easy to open and close up tight. Perhaps most importantly, it hits the sweet spot of carrying a lot of water and not feeling bulky. In contrast, we found a lot of the large-capacity plastic water bottles hard to carry, especially when they were full.

Its lean design allows it to slide easily into a cup holder, backpack, purse, or briefcase, making it great for commuters. The super-tight closure of the lid also lets you know that nothing is going to escape — you won’t have to worry about.

It is sometimes believed that water is just… water. In fact, every water is different. These differences depend on their origin, consistency, composition, type of protection, and treatment. As a result, every water tastes different. Aqua Green Waters offer a special category of water.

Pour, observe, smell and just drink…
