PPP are no saints but there is something very fishy about this woman. There is something going on here, Cynthia is obviously put up to go for certain opposition politicians, and the finger points only in one direction. I fail to understand what took her 9 years to speak out? Even #MeToo was in place about 3 years ago.
It is unfortunate and shameful for Pakistan when its leaders are being accused by an American journalist for such serious crime. PPP Chairman must take notice irrespective of political statements from accused persons. If they are innocent then they should engage a lawyer ( who will not charge a cent ) in the USA and sue her for multi billion dollars and not merely a notice to fool the public as happened in the UK against the daily mail newspaper by Shahbaz Sharif.
The allegations are too serious to be ignored. Whatever she had been through my sympathies with her, but here I am unable to figure out why is she blaming the entire party instead of those few culprits? Her timing is absolutely crucial, silence for long lime also raises questions. Our history is full of examples of using characters to tarnish the opponents. But again, the problem is that when it concerns women vs. feudal men, who would you trust? Irrespective if she can prove her allegations in court.
There are no accurate lie detectors in Pakistan for sure. It’s unfortunate that she was quiet for a long time and it is surprising why she is opening up the Pandora’s Box now. Her statement regarding investigative work against PPP & PTM and confluence with (most know) makes her claims quite fishy, weak and has a purpose to malign some at the behest of the powerful hidden hands.
Having a relationship with PTM is not anti-Pakistani activity but a pro Pakistani activity, PTM is a Pakistani political organization, it’s good that a mainstream political party has working relationships with small parties, well for Pakistan. Why do they want us to just fight?
So the powers to be selected a foreign candidate as a consultant who really does not appear to have much in terms of credibility or experience. This was a major blunder by the establishment. It just shows they are reaping our colonial mindset for their gain. I doubt she has even been published or taken seriously by anyone outside of Pakistan.
CIA written all over her why would she live in Pakistan after what she had gone through (rape claim etc.?) She seems to be too involved but not actually achieving anything tangible. Her role is very dubious. Investigation should be centered on those protégés who allowed her to move in the areas prohibited even to Pakistan’s VIPS. She from every corner is a planted spy. Nobody knows her background. Where is our famed agency?
