HOW DO YOU MAKE SCIENCE INTERESTING FOR KIDS

Science is not just a subject it is basically a way of thinking. All kids are born scientist. It is up to the adults, the teachers to keep that spirit of science alive in kids. A child’s mind is like water it can be easily modified into any form.

Kids are always interested in lots of stuff, they question a lot, they want to know, see ,touch and feel and are continuously curious about the on goings in the world around them, answer those questions, do not think that they are incapable of understanding something, just because their question does not make sense to you, does not mean that you should ignore them, get back to them, read with them, learn with them, remain interested in their curiosity and most importantly respect their intelligence and thought process.

Science is one subject in which you can really gain attention by having kids actively working with their hands as well as their brains. It can become so much fun that they will actually forget they are learning.

IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES TO BE DONE BY THE PARENTS TO GET THE KIDS INVOLVED IN SCIENCE

@ The first manner that you can increase your child’s love of science is to take hobby in technology yourself. Your toddler will want to research extra about science if they know you are interested in science too. You’re your baby’s first-rate instructor.

@ Discover the world with them, start with very young children by taking them for walks outside, pointing out and marvelling at the differences in plants and trees, examining the fine details of leaves and the shapes of clouds.
They can’t be curious about the world around them if they don’t notice it, or if their heads are buried in screens or plastic toys most of the time.

@ Find methods to make technology fun in your kids. The extra fun your toddler may have with technology the greater they will boom their love of science.

@Talk to them about how things are made. And remember that when they play, they are learning fundamental skills and expressing an interest in the world, so don’t be too narrowly fixated on science.

@ Remember that you cannot change a child’s basic nature and the effort to do so will harm him. So support a child’s interests.

@ Grow your baby’s love of technological know-how is to do science initiatives along with your infant. Doing technological know-how tasks with your baby will assist them how matters work.

@Have them help with crazy experiments,
Experiment will make kids remember it for long time, make everything clear exactly how it will work, explaining it to others will make them be confident about what they are presenting.

@ By igniting their curiosity in ‘how things work’. This makes them curious and confident around mechanics of things.

@ Based on their age you can educate them on things around things in real life. This way it’s easy for them to relate to these things and create a foundation for their curiosity.

@Later on you can involve them in robotics which is extremely engaging.

@Have right books and toys around.

@ Engage the kids in various clubs because kids learn better in teams.

@ Other interesting things could be watching science and nature shows, where the experiments are insane (and sometimes hilarious,) and seeing all the incredible animals that live around the world due to evolution.

Children are very keen observers. They understand really well by examples and practicals. If you can make them understand things practically, they will be more interested.
Science is really a great subject. The more you give children practical experience the more they will be into it.
